We all know our regular cereal boxes – they feature a smiling sports star who encourages us to eat healthy. Breaking that stereotype, Kellogg’s has come up with something different this time.

Kellogg’s Anti-Bullying Campaign

This yummy Froot Loops and Frosted Flakes brand has joined hands with GLAAD for their latest campaign. GLAAD (Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) is an American non-governmental media monitoring organisation that is found by the LGBT that are in the media. On 17th October, deemed as the Spirit Day, Kellogg’s in association with GLAAD, launched a new packaging supporting the LGBTQ. In their anti-LGBTQ bullying campaign, they have release their new, limited edition 2019 cereal box that is called “All Together Cereal.”

For the “All Together” cereal, Kellogg’s will be putting their six cereals in the same box, encouraging the inclusion of LGBTQ. This new purple box will feature their six mascots from Toucan Sam to Tony the Tiger. This pack will feature mini boxes of Kellogg’s favourite cereal – Froot Loops, Frosted Flakes, Corn Flakes, Frosted Mini Wheats, Rice Krispies, and Raisin Bran.

Kellogg’s has further pledged to donate USD 50,000 to GLAAD as a support for the LGBTQ anti-bullying and LGBTQ advocacy efforts.

What Kellogg has to say about it

Vice President of global talent and chief diversity officer of Kellogg’s, Priscilla Koranteng expressed her views about this wonderful campaign. She has quoted that Kellogg’s have been long allies and supporters of the LGBTQ employees, their families and the community. For over 100 years, Kellogg’s has nourished their families to help them flourish and thrive. Henceforth, the company will continue to welcome everyone to the table.

Kellogg’s further added on their website, “We all belong together. So for the first time in history, our famous mascots and cereals are offered exclusively together in the same box for All Together Cereal. It’s a symbol of acceptance no matter how you look, where you’re from or who you love. We believe that all people deserve an environment where they can be their best selves.”

#SpiritDay is October 17th and millions will stand up against bullying and show their support for LGBTQ youth by going purple. Take the pledge to show your support: https://t.co/AJXrimYJKz ??? pic.twitter.com/McbFO2vlTl
