Puerto Rico in blackout due to hurricane Fiona

Hurricane Fiona made landfall last Sunday afternoon. Entire island has been experiencing blackout as the hurricane knocked out the electricity grid.

Pedro Pierluisi (Gov. Puerto Rico) said the damage on the island is "catastrophic in many areas," calling it a "very delicate and sad situation."

18 to 30" of rain is expected across Puerto Rico as weather estimates rainfall throughout the night.

Hurricane Fiona was put into Category 1, and expected to cause massive landslides 

The Electric Utility company Luma Energy ( a private entity) said full restoration of power service on Puerto Rico "could take several days."
