A hospital in Philippines caught fire and took 5 hours to fully extinguish it. There were zero casualties reported.

Macababbad was bathing one of the newborns in the NICU when the hospital staff was instructed to leave due to a fire.

The other babies were on ventilators, so she grabbed the lone infant who could breathe on its own and secured it.

To bring all the 35 newborns to safety, Macababbad and her team made 5 trips to and from the pediatric department.
