World’s longest sea bridge launched in China

The 55-kilometre crossing connects Hong Kong to mainland China via Macau. It was inaugurated by China’s President Xi Jinping.

The bridge includes a snaky road and an underwater tunnel across the Pearl River Estuary.

Some of the Hong Kong media reported that a camera surveillance system is setup to alert authorities if a driver yawns more than thrice under 20 seconds.
