14-year-old Ken Reyu from Leshan in Sichuan Province of China recently entered the Guinness Book of World Records for being confirmed as the tallest teenager in the world!

With a height of 221.03 cm (7 ft 3.02 in), this ninth-grade student had grown to a height of a massive 150 centimeters when he was in kindergarten.

Due to his height, his family did take him to multiple doctors to check for any medical conditions that he might have. However, it was found that Reyu was not affected by any illness. Rather, his extraordinary height is attributed to his genes – his grandmother is 175 cm tall, his mother and grandfather are over 190 cm tall, and his father is over 180 cm tall.

Interestingly, the chairs and tables in Reyu’s home and his school are customized so that his eyesight, growth, and development are not adversely impacted. But these are not the only things that are tailor made for Reyu. His clothes and footwear are also exclusively made for his size.

Unfortunately, due to his height, he does face certain inconveniences. For instance, using public transport can be troublesome for him.

But other than that, Reyu is a regular teenager who loves to read books and play games. He is also an academicaly inclined student who is among the top few students in his class. His ambition when he grows up is to become an e-sports player!

Isn’t this boy a notch higher than all his peers, even literally?
