Japanese scientists have made progress in a cure for Parkinson’s disease by transplanting stem cells into a patient’s brain. A Kyoto University team used, for the first time, cells with the potential to develop into any tissue. The 50-year-old patient has been stable for the last one month and is on the path to recovery.
