A former Nasa engineer’s ‘stink bomb’ that punishes parcel thieves stealing packets from doorstep is breaking YouTube. Mark Rober, now a YouTuber, has rigged an Apple Homepod box to fart spray the thieves. Opening this box in any GPS location outside his property activates the bomb. Then, a fan and spray device directs a spray of glitter and fart stink at the offender. And Rober has added a filmy twist to his game. The sender’s name on the parcel is Kevin McCallister (actor Macaulay Culkin), the protagonist in the 1990 ‘Home Alone’ movie. Rober recovers his box after the thieves abandon it, and watches the recordings of parcel thieves’ distress. And resets and reuses the contraption every time.
