Sports lovers are in for a big big day today!
The ICC Cricket World Cup has reached its climax with hosts England and returning finalist New Zealand fighting it out in the finals to win the coveted trophy. The match is currently being played at the iconic Lord’s stadium in London. Both teams have never won the World Cup yet and would be wanting to get their hands on the trophy. Who will be crowned the world champions in cricket? Will the hosts win? Or will the underdogs, Kiwis surprise the hosts?
Meanwhile, the men’s singles finals at the Wimbledon Championship is also underway with defending champion, Novak Djokovic battling tennis icon Roger Federer. While Federer is in pursuit of his ninth Wimbledon Championship, Djokovic would certainly want to retain the title, taking his Wimbledon tally to 5.
