The Forbes’ List of Billionaires for 2020 was released recently. And while Jeff Bezos of Amazon topped the list for the third consecutive time, there were 234 women on the list. This number is 10 less than the 244 women on the Richest Woman in the world list last year but the collective worth of the women billionaires is a whopping $927.4 billion.

Alice Walton
The only daughter of the founder of Walmart Sam Walton, Alice Walton topped the list of the richest women in the world with a net worth of a whopping $54.4 billion. At number 9, she was also the only woman to be listed in the top 10 billionaires in the world.
Known very often as a philanthropist and art collector, Walton does not actively participate in running the daily operations of Walmart.
Francoise Bettencourt Meyers
The grand daughter of the founder of the famed cosmetics company L’Oreal, Francoise Bettencourt Meyers became the heiress of the company when her mother passed away in 2017. She has served on the board of the company since 1997 and is also ]]the president o the Chairperson of the family’s philanthropic organization, which is involved in promoting French arts and sciences.
MacKenzie Bezos
Making her entry for the first time onto the list of billionaires, MacKenzie Bezos is the former wife of the founder of Amazon, Jeff Bezos. As part of the divorce settlement, she received one-fourth of the shares of her former husband in Amazon. However, she is an award winning novelist and a philanthropist.

Sussanne Klatten
Daughter of the industrialist Herbert Quandt, widely regarded as the leading figure in guiding the luxury car maker BMW to eminence, Sussanne Klatten owns around 19 per cent stake in the famed automaker BMW. She is also the sole owner of Altana, a pharmaceutical and specialty chemical corporation.

Gina Rinehart
The daughter of the high-profile iron-ore explorer Lang Hancock, Gina Rinehart has the chairperson of Hancock Prospecting since 1992, a mineral extraction and exploration company that was founded by her father. Interestingly, she is also one of the top few cattle producers in Australia.
