Marketing a product requires acumen and skill. It needs expertise and training to market and sell a product right. But, sometimes, one can do wonders even without any formal training. All you need is a good idea. And that’s what a little Girl Scout is doing.
Charlotte Holmberg, a fifth-grader from Colorado, has hit jackpot by using shirtless photos of Aquaman actor Jason Momoa on her cookie packets. And as expected, the Samoa cookies are selling like hotcakes!
Charlotte got this idea from her mother, who works in the marketing field. Her mother had come across some memes about Jason Momoa on the Internet and the similarity between the names Samoa and Momoa put her onto this marketing gimmick.

The mother-daughter duo then got to work. They printed shirtless photos of the actor and pasted them onto the cookie boxes. They even changed the name from Samoas to Momoas. Now isn’t that clever!
According to Charlotte, the moms are really digging the cookies with the Aquaman star’s picture.
“The moms are getting really excited and they’re saying that they need them!” she told Denver’s 9News. “The girls will wanna buy some because he’s on the front. And the boys will also wanna buy some because he’s like, he might be like their favourite character.”
So far Momoa has not commented on this little entrepreneur’s marketing tactics. Let’s hope he takes it in his stride and helps increase the sales further.
