“Officers, I swear it wasn’t me,” tweeted actor David Schwimmer, whose character Ross in ‘Friends’ TV series has a huge fan following. This was after police in Southall, London, arrested his lookalike as the suspect for stealing beer from a shop on September 20.
London’s Met police recently arrested the 36-year-old suspect after Blackpool police had shared on the social media the CCTV grab of the beer-carrying suspect with an uncanny resemblance to the actor. “As you can see, I was in New York,” added Schwimmer, attaching a video of him carrying a crate of beer out of a convenience store. The hilarious video posted by the actor had netizens in splits.
