In an act of showing gratitude and kindness, founder of Philadelphia-based nursing company Bayada Home Health Care awarded $20 million bonus to his employees. Showing generosity of spirit, Mark Baiada gifted $20 million to the employees from his own personal funds. The company has around 32,000 employees and no one was left out from this windfall. While the new employees received modest sums, old employees received very generous sums – to the tune of tens of thousands of dollars. And even the employees who retired from service after 2010, got a little something byway of checks in their mails. Baiada plans to convert his business into anon-profit by January 2019 and this dazzling bonus was one step towards that direction.
