A video of an elderly couple from the Indian city of Kolkata grooving to an old number has gone viral!

This elderly but young-at-heart couple has won the internet with their scintillating moves on a popular Indie pop song of the 90s called ‘Woh Chali Woh Chali‘ being played in Hard Rock Cafe, a famous pub in the Indian city of Kolkata.

The heartwarming clip of the couple dancing away with gay abandon had been posted on Instagram by a user called Mamta Sharma Das, who also wrote that the couple are parents of the lead singer of the band that was performing at the pub.

The adorable couple were later identified as 69-year-old Abhijit Banerjee and 60-year-old Shipra Banerjee. Oblivious of the onlookers, they were engrossed in their vibrant dance. What is even more remarkable is that the woman is dancing wearing a sari, a traditional Indian garment that is considered difficult to drape and manage. Her husband, who is extremely nimble on his feet, is wearing a sweater and pants.

Soon after being posted, the video took the internet by storm, with netizens cheering the couple for their enthusiastic moves.

“Sweetest thing I saw today!! So romantic,” one used said. “Wow, this is love. Totally crushing over them and the vibe,” another one wrote.
