All Marvel fans boyishly covet to become like their favourite superheroes, who try to save the humankind from a smouldering ruin.
If you too are one of them, then you will love to meet Jim Churchman, who was a stunt-coordinator in Ant-Man, Doctor Strange, and Captain Marvel. Further, he was a second-unit stunt-coordinator for Iron Man-3 and Ant-Man, and second-unit director for Doctor Strange.
There is no denying that Marvel Comics has grown in stature for its larger-than-life stunts and stunning art. One of the major figures behind its colossal success is Churchman. He deserves much credit for creating such powerful reel impressions of superheroes that will never fade out from our memory.
Getting to the point, Churchman, who ingrained god-like qualities in our favourite superheroes by making them fly, perch on skyscrapers, and jump off nonchalantly, has created Smile High Club. After serving his stint as a stunt-coordinator in biggest blockbuster superhero movies, he gives young people the sensation of flying just to make them smile!
Jim uses his experience from his 25-year-long career as a stunt coordinator in Hollywood to spread joy among the kids that are combating cancer. It is gut-wrenching to see little children visiting hospitals regularly to undergo chemotherapy, being poked and prodded painfully. So, Jim and his team comprising of extremely skilled professionals make sure to retrieve their confidence and make them smile. How rewarding they must feel!
Lately, the Game of Thrones famed star and Jim’s co-worker Sophie Turner shared a post about Jim’s philanthropic venture on her Instagram handle. Sophie was all praise for Jim while captioning the video. Ever since, Jim’s Smile High Club has become more popular among people.
In Smile High Club, Jim and his team have set up a computerised flying system akin to the ones that are used in movies. What’s more, they allow the children to dress up like one of those valorous superhero characters and pose for cute pictures!
