Valentine’s Day is fast approaching. And before we know, it will be upon us. There will be a mad rush to buy gifts for the loved ones. Chocolates, teddy bears, flowers, cards are all passé now. So, what about gifting your beloved a piece from space?
You read it right. How about gifting something which is out of this world—literally? Well if you are game, Christie’s auction house is auctioning online, ‘The Heart of Space’. It is a heart-shaped meteorite, which is 4.5 billion years old. And, Christie’s has dubbed it— ‘The Heart of Space’.

According to information available on Christie’s website, this was part of a giant chunk of iron that broke off from a larger mass in an asteroid belt some 320 million years ago.
Now isn’t it something! However, this unique piece of rock doesn’t come cheap. Christie’s is expecting the rock to go for anywhere from $300,000 to $500,000 in the auction which is slated to begin on 6th February and will go on till Valentine’s Day.
Just in time for the day of love. But one needs to have some seriously deep pockets to afford it.
