Indian actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas is a stellar artist and has many feathers in her cap. Apart from being an actor, she is also a singer, a producer, an entrepreneur, and an author. But, she has now donned a new role.
Chopra Jonas has now turned a restauranteur! She recently announced the launch of ‘Sona,’ her new restaurant in New York, which would offer authentic Indian cuisine. Headed by the incredible Chef Hari Nayak, the restaurant will be inaugurated at the end of this month. Nayak is an eminent chef based out of New York and is the author of 7 bestselling books that include Modern Indian Cooking, My Indian Kitchen and The Spice Trail.
Chopra Jonas shared a post on Instagram confirming the news. “I’m thrilled to present to you SONA, a new restaurant in NYC that I poured my love for Indian food into. SONA is the very embodiment of timeless India and the flavours I grew up with.”
She also shared a few pictures of the prayer ceremony for the new place.

Recently, Chopra Jonas also released her autobiography, ‘Unfinished: A Memoir,’ which was a success and was also featured as a New York Times bestseller. She also launched ‘Anomaly’, her own hair care line, which offers clean, vegan haircare products packaged in bottles made from 100% plastic trash.
