The fairytale wedding of Steph Agnew had everything customary, taking the dreamy walk down the aisle to the clinking of wine glasses. What made it stand out was the guests wearing blindfolds. Well, it was an act of showing solidarity with the blind bride. Soul-stirring and heartwarming as it is, this wedding in Queensland, Australia grabbed the headlines for all the right reasons.

Agnew, a massage therapist from South Melbourne, lost her eyesight four years back because of a genetic condition. Her mother Linda also suffered from the same disorder. Agnew wanted the guests to be really present and hear their vows the same way as she and her mother did.

Should Steph & Rob be on Ellen? Lots are saying so, but I’m going to need your help to get their attention. Can you tag @theellenshow like crazy in your comments? Or anyone else you think needs to see this?

In an interview with Nine.com.au, Agnew revealed that she was striving to raise awareness about visual impairment.
