19th November is observed as International Men’s Day across the world. This day seeks to raise awareness about the health of men and boys, to promote gender equality, and to highlight discrimination faced by men.
Each year, the day is celebrated with a particular theme. The theme for International Men’s Day 2019 is ‘Making a difference for men and boys.’ It promotes the need to help people make improvements in the health and well-being of men and boys.
