American heavy metal band Metallica has been sharing its good fortune with those less fortunate. The band is presently on their WorldWired tour, and it has been donating money to food banks in every city where it has been performing. The initiative is being undertaken by the band’s ‘All Within My Hands Foundation.’ The band created news recently when it donated $10,000 to the Utah Food Bank. The food bank put up a post on social media thanking the band for its efforts, and said that the money donated is enough to feed “30,000 meals” for people facing hunger in Utah.
Metallica had also made a heavy donation for the victims of California wildfires earlier this month. The band’s ‘All Within My Hands Foundation’ was started in 2017 and has been working for “creating sustainable communities by supporting workforce education, the fight against hunger, and other critical local services.”
