Evan, with the assistance of his dad, started his own YouTube channel when he was just 8 years old. His YouTube channel currently has a whopping million subscribers and a billion views. EvanTube is a channel that has reviews on toys and discussion on kids-related topics. This content results in Evan earning a cool $1.3 million dollars in revenue a year.
Evan began his entrepreneurial journey by reviewing various toys and video games for his channel EvanTube. Jared, Evan’s dad, was responsible for handling the camera recording part. He later went ahead with uploading vlogs and review videos of places of sightseeing for children. In 2011, the father-son duo started making Angry Birds clay videos for YouTube.
“We were only uploading one video every month that too for fun. It was only after one of our clay videos hit a million views, we started getting serious about our channel”, Jared quoted.
As time passed, Evan started getting more collaboration requests from various brands. Jared then approached Maker Studios, an American advertising company, for handling the branding and sale deals.
Evan has now started two more video channels EvanTubeRaw and EvanTubeGaming.
Certainly, Evan is an inspiration for many young entrepreneurs. He is a fine example of doing what you love and getting paid for it.
