India’s ace cueist Pankaj Advani won a record 22nd IBSF World Billiards Championship in Myanmar on 15th September. This is his fifth title in the past six years in the shorter format of the game.

He defeated the local favourite Nay Thway Oo 6-2 in a repeat of last year’s final, winning his fourth consecutive final in the 150-up format of the game.

With this win, Advani has won more titles in this sport than anyone else in the world, making him the greatest cueist of all time!

Post his win, Advani said, “Every time I participate in a world championship, one thing is clear – my motivation to excel has not diminished. This win a testament to the fact that my hunger and fire are both well and truly alive.”

He took to social media to share his delight with his fans.
