Space Entertainment is the Next Big Thing – You can Now Order “Shooting Stars”

Space entertainment is the next big thing - you can now order "shooting stars"

There is a new genre of entertainment today and it is called space entertainment! This is entertainment reaching you right from space. For instance, now, you can see shooting stars whenever you wish to. And unlike the natural phenomenon, these will be visible despite the pollution and weather conditions.

A Tokyo-based startup, Astro Live Experiences (ALE) launched a satellite into space to create the world’s first ever artificial meteor shower. To test the prototype of this project, the Epsilon-4 rocket was launched from the JAXA Uchinoura Space Center in Japan. The satellite will release around 400 tiny balls, each measuring less than an inch, simulating a meteor shower. When these pellets enter the Earth, they glow and produce various dazzling colours.

Post the display, they burn up, thus eliminating the risk to the people. Also, the particles burn between 37 and 50 miles from the ground, a limit that is extremely safe for viewers from the ground.

The organization has spent the last seven years in working and perfecting the technology.

The first display of this artificial meteor shower is expected to take place only in 2020 in the historic city of Hiroshima.

What do you think about this next level of entertainment? We are pretty excited!
