Bono is a legend in the music world.

Born Paul David Hewson on 10th May 1960 in Dublin, Ireland, Bono is best known for being the lead vocalist of the iconic band U2. However, Bono dons many hats – he is also a social activist and a philanthropist too. With over 20 Grammy Awards in his kitty, he is definitely one of the greatest of all time.

Bono turned 60 recently, and on the occasion, he released a stellar playlist of “60 Songs That Saved My Life.” He also put up a heartwarming post, saying that the songs are “The ones I couldn’t have lived without… the ones that got me from there to here, zero to 60… through all the scrapes, all manner of nuisance, from the serious to the silly… and the joy, mostly joy.”

Bono also said that he would add a “fan letter to accompany each song to try and explain my fascination.”
